Primitive Wrought Iron Courting Candle Holder – Smokey Black

A Little Piece of Early American Romance!

Bring a touch of old-fashioned charm and history to your home with our Primitive Wrought Iron Courting Candle Holder in a beautiful smokey black finish.

Inspired by traditional courting candles, this unique candle holder features a distinctive spiral design, circular base, and curled handle that make it a wonderful conversation piece.

According to traditional folklore, courting candles were used by fathers to determine how long a gentleman could visit their daughter. The candle was adjusted to a certain height, and when it burned down, the gentleman's visiting time was over!

Today, this charming reproduction brings that same nostalgic character to primitive, colonial, farmhouse, and early American decorating.

Display it on a rustic side table, fireplace mantel, kitchen hutch, or antique cupboard. Pair it with a warm-colored taper candle, a crock of berries, or a few vintage books for a cozy country arrangement.
