💳 Payments Accepted

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express

  • PayPal

  • Shop Pay Installments (split your purchase into easy payments at checkout)

  • Money Orders and Personal Checks

👉 Please note:

  • Credit cards and PayPal are charged at the time of purchase (not when the item ships).

  • Personal checks will require 2 weeks to clear before shipping.

  • Returned checks are subject to a $30 service fee.


🧾 Sales Tax

Missouri residents will be charged 8.475% sales tax on merchandise (shipping not included).


❌ Order Cancellation Policy

As a small business, we reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion for reasons such as:

  • Pricing or stock errors

  • Payment issues

  • Incomplete or inaccurate shipping information

If your order is canceled, you will be notified promptly and refunded in full. We do our best to keep listings accurate, but we appreciate your understanding when occasional errors occur.


📦 Shipping Details

  • In-stock items typically ship within 5–7 business days (or sooner unless otherwise noted).

  • If an item is out of stock, we’ll notify you with an estimated ship date.

  • Orders containing backordered items will be held until they can ship complete.

We ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx, depending on the warehouse and item.

🚚 Please note:
Selecting a specific shipping carrier at checkout does not guarantee your order will ship with that carrier. Because we work with multiple drop ship suppliers, each with their own preferred shipping method, the final service used may vary to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

Additional shipping policies:

  • If your order qualifies for free shipping, we’ll choose the most cost-effective method.

  • A package is only considered lost if it hasn’t moved or been scanned in 30 days. Refunds cannot be issued before this period.

  • If a package is refused, you are responsible for both the outbound and return shipping costs, plus a 5% restocking fee.

  • We are not responsible for packages marked as delivered but stolen, or for incorrect addresses entered at checkout.

📸 Damaged or Defective Items:
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 3 days of delivery. Be sure to include your order number and a photo of the issue so we can make it right as quickly as possible.


🌍 International Orders

We are unable to accept international orders online at this time. If you’d like to place an order, please email us at allyson@allysonsplace.com with your item list and shipping address.

Customs duties, clearance fees, and taxes are the responsibility of the customer and may be due upon delivery.
Refused international orders will be charged:

  • Original shipping fees

  • Return shipping costs

  • A 5% restocking fee

  • We do not accept returns on international orders.

🔁 Return & Refund Policy

We want you to love what you order! If something’s not quite right:

  • Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging.

  • You must request a Return Authorization Number by calling 816-569-3911 or emailing us at allyson@allysonsplace.com

  • Unauthorized returns will receive store credit only (must be used within 2 years).

Refunds will be issued minus:

  • Original shipping cost (even if free shipping was applied)

  • A small 5% restocking fee
    (This helps cover non-refundable credit card and payment processing fees, as well as handling costs.)

Additional return info:

  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless we made an error on your order.

  • If the item is returned without its original packaging, a 25% restocking fee will apply and a store credit will be issued.

  • Installed light fixtures will incur a 20% rewiring fee in addition to standard restocking.
